The latest wedding present yet!
Our good friend, CVS, gave us a year's subscription to Audible.com. We get two downloads a month for 12 months. I've used the first ones to download "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" - a brilliant BBC4 comedy program.
While "Mornington Crescent" might leave some people cold, "Wuthering Hillocks" is brilliant. Also, the explanations about "One Song To The Tune Of Another" is something to be experienced....

A question of religion has arisen in Kansas...
So I'm happy to announce that my wife and I will be rearing our future child as Flying Spaghetti Monsterites.

So it's no great shock...
I'm a bit of a geek (yes, I still play D&D at 35!) However, there's a couple of great sites out there that are worth an eyeball even for non-gamers:
The Order Of The Stick
Knights Of The Dinner Table
Both of these are a hoot!

Coming this week...
is our next Ultrasound appointment. On Wednesday, we'll have our 20 week ultrasound - which, if the baby's cooperating - will tell us if it's a boy or a girl.
Since my entire side of the family has boys (my brother has 2, my sister has 1) - and my wife's side is entirely girls (by birth - brother has one, sister has one - there are two step kids, one boy and one girl) - either way, we're going to annoy half of our relatives!
Annoy is a strong term, true - but my father actually promised, at our wedding rehearsal, that if we had a girl, he'd clothe her until she was 18! And yes, we did have that on videotape!
Also coming up this week - our AFP test results. We've not heard much good about this test - apparantly a lot of false positives out there. The Alphafetaprotein test has indicators for certain types of birth defects, such as spina bifida, Down's syndrome, etc. Slightly nervous, but fingers crossed!

A Map of Wales for Eleanor...
My family is around the town of Barry, but I grew up in a little town called Bassaleg.
Another great site for Wales is centered around our claim to fame: Castles!

So it begins...
Well - although I've had this blog for a while (I'd used it to track my weight loss last year) I thought I'd revamp it for 2005. I'll be tracking odd sites, bits of news about my personal life, and other assorted oddities. Hope you enjoy it!
