The weather has let us spend more time in the backyard!

Lily smiles because...

Things that make Lily smile:

• The little yellow pull-back car as it wobbles across the floor toward her hand
• Her big brother blowing bubbles (not the bubbles themselves, I think it is the look and sound of him attempting to blow that sets her giggling)
• the cat, especially the tail - not sure if it is all cats or the fact that ours is black and white

Well, at least it wasn't his FIRST word....

Yup - two years, three months and 23 days - before Owen first learns the "S-word". Dad had forgotten the medicine at school and would have to drive back in rush-hour traffic (only 1/2 hour, but we were JUST there) - and he let fly with an aggravated "S-word". Little parrot Owen then whips it out 3 SECONDS later - much to the shock of mom! Oh well, hopefully he'll take a little longer on the rest of them!
