I took Lisa around my old campus at Oswego State - I was amazed to see my fraternity's crest still hanging in the student union! I thought we had folded a couple of years ago... Posted by Picasa

We even got his feet wet! Posted by Picasa

But he's okay after a while. This is us with Nanna Dee at the lake. Posted by Picasa

In fact, he's downright terrified of it. Posted by Picasa

The day after the wedding, we were supposed to meet up with Wolfie in Rochester. That didn't pan out, so we went to Fort Niagara instead. Owen is confused by the giant blue body of water in front of him. Posted by Picasa

The reception was a lot of fun - we were sat with some funny people. Here Heather is bitching about Sparkle-dress while Kevin expresses his concern that the sea of wicker would fall down. Yeah, you had to be there... Posted by Picasa

Sean and Marie getting married - it's not an illusion, he is that tall! Posted by Picasa

Before we go to the wedding, we leave Owen and Nanna Dee at the hotel. Again, he's thrilled by it!  Posted by Picasa

Owen actually enjoyed the ride. Enough room for someone to sit next to him for entertainment! Posted by Picasa

After a long day of flying, we got to Buffalo - Owen slept through the takeoffs and landings! YAY! The next morning we picked up the minivan to drive to Oswego. As you can tell, Lisa is thrilled by the concept. Actually, this was a Ford Freestar and it was quite nice. No pictures from my 20th High School reunion, but it was a lot of fun. Posted by Picasa

Before we left, we read a few books with mom... Posted by Picasa

We're back from vacation - and we couldn't be happier! Posted by Picasa

Oh, and one more thing...

We'll also be meeting up with Wolfie, if she calls me!

Blogging will be non-existent for a while...

As we take a Higgy family vacation! That's right - we're off to visit my mum, go to my 20th High School reunion, and go to a wedding of a friend of mine. Y'all be good!

About 10 of us finished the night (and the champagne) sitting around chatting. Most of the guests knew Mad from college or her lab - at our table was an MBA, two PhD's almost complete, 2 PhDs that WERE complete, and an MD! Lots of funny, brainy people! Posted by Picasa

They also had special toasting glasses - Romeo and Juliet! Everyone, all together now.... AWWWWWWWWWW..... Posted by Picasa

Mike kissing the GLH in a strangely familiar wedding dress.... Posted by Picasa

With face-smooshing goodness! This is my favorite shot of Mad. She didn't stop smiling all night! Posted by Picasa

We have the cake cutting.... Posted by Picasa

The GLH gets a shot with Mad and Mike at the reception... Posted by Picasa
