It's OUR BIRTHDAY!!! Posted by Picasa

Many hours and sore arms later, this is the result. The previous owner of the house must have been Oriental - because the concrete footings for that deck were dug halfway to China! It took all 3 of us to move each one of these pilings out! Posted by Picasa

Saturday, I spent ripping up Frank's deck (with a couple of guys from Rob's steel business.) Frank was driving down to LA - hence the smile on his face! Posted by Picasa

We get a picture with Aunt Joyce - up until this shot, every time she looked at Owen, he burst into tears! Posted by Picasa

Until it gets around our foot, and then Grandma needs to help detangle.... Posted by Picasa

Then a beaded necklace takes ALL our attention for a while... Posted by Picasa

So he goes and tries to climb over Dad instead... Posted by Picasa

Much to his chagrin, she gets away.... Posted by Picasa

We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's to wait for the news from Donn. Here, an unsuspecting Elena is snuck up on by Owen... Posted by Picasa

Owen is learning how to share - here, he's sharing his cereal with mom... Posted by Picasa

Sad news

Lisa's Aunt Marcella passed away on December 1st. She had been diagnosed with bladder cancer last year. She was 56. Lisa will be going to southern CA for the viewing/service later this week.

I'm sent out to round people up - now Josephine has gotten into the swinging business! Posted by Picasa

It fell to Dad to do the turkey-carving. We only snitched a pound or so before the meat made it to the table! Posted by Picasa

Luckily I have gorilla arms and could take this family self-portrait of us... Posted by Picasa

She's a big fan of the swing, if you couldn't guess.... Posted by Picasa

Having worked up an appetite, we then all converged on Mom and Dad's house for turkey. Lisa had recovered enough to push Elena on the swing... Posted by Picasa

And then behind us.  Posted by Picasa

We opted for the 5k walk - there was a 10k route, and you could run if you wanted to. As you can see, the vast majority decided to walk. This is the view about halfway through the walk - in front of us... Posted by Picasa
