Eventually, we get all warmed up and buy ourselves some chocolate at the square. We also do a little shopping and listen to a good little jazz trio playing upstairs. By this time, it's starting to get dark, so we head to the Rogue brewery for dinner and drinks before driving back to Sacto. Posted by Picasa

We get to the square and it is FREAKING FREEZING! The wind is cutting right through Sean and Marie, so we stop off to buy them some souvenir fleece sweatshirts. Sean has a little difficulty with his 2XL... Posted by Picasa

Linda and Lisa, being the savvy train riders that they are, got seats first! Posted by Picasa

We then took the train down to Ghiradelli Square (to get chocolate, of course!) Posted by Picasa

We then met up with Lisa's sister, Linda, by the Ferry building. Sweetpea blew us off to hang out with his roommates. We'll have to be extra hard on him the next time we see him. At lunch, Linda ordered an artichoke. It looked funnier than this picture makes it out, especially when the German hostess came over and cut the heart out of it for Linda. I thought she was going to spoon-feed her as well! Posted by Picasa

Halfway across the bridge, we came across this handy sign next to the emergency call box. Note the "fatal AND TRAGIC" portion.  Posted by Picasa

We send them off to Napa on Friday while we were working, then on Saturday, we dropped the young lad at Grandma's and took off into San Francisco. We stopped to walk across the Golden Gate bridge on our way in. From left, Sean, Marie, Lisa, Pete. It wasn't really windy on the bridge, which surprised us. Posted by Picasa

My good friend Sean and his wife Marie came to visit us this weekend. Owen is thrilled by the thought of visitors! Posted by Picasa

Of course, I needed to clean off my spare desk first... Yes, that's the cat's litter box under there! Posted by Picasa

I'm starting to build my new PC. Here's the case (a Ninja by Raidmax.) 450 watt power supply, 5 open 5 inch bays, 2 open 3.5 inch bays and 5 internal bays. 120mm case fan and removeable motherboard tray. I'm in nerdvana.... Posted by Picasa

Also, last weekend was Lisa's birthday - we had a party at her parent's house for lunch and then I took her out to dinner. This chocolate lava cake was to die for! Posted by Picasa

Do you think we have enough color in his room? Posted by Picasa

Lisa's friend Shiela also brought Owen a Halloween bear. For anyone checking on his outfit for Halloween, he went as a sleeping baby - no pictures of that! Posted by Picasa

The weather has started to change - our first rainstorm of the year, and the leaves are falling. However, it's still nice to go out and play on the driveway... Posted by Picasa

but mostly we just poke them with our stick! Posted by Picasa

and even try to eat them... Posted by Picasa

Yet we love to sit and watch them... Posted by Picasa

and make our hands taste funny... Posted by Picasa

They're tricky to catch... Posted by Picasa

And sometimes go in our truck... Posted by Picasa

They kind of just float by... Posted by Picasa

We like bubbles... Posted by Picasa

Well, some of us were - mom was playing with bubbles... Posted by Picasa

We've been outside a lot - picking up sticks and leaves - it's that time of year again... Posted by Picasa

Its been FOREVER since we had an update...you'd think we were busy or something... Posted by Picasa
