You're going about Level 5 wrong. Hint: you need to kill the bottom monster.
PS: IM or email me if you get stuck later on. I know a good resource for hints, but I don't want you to get dependent on it just yet :)
Level 9 is mostly about outrunning the spider. Also, if you didn't know, it takes 3 hits to destroy a creepy eye-turret thingy.
