Above the window in Owen's room, we've put up some animal letters. The "w", "e" and "n" are all from Lisa's childhood! The "O" was handpainted by Lisa's Aunt Marcella - she made it into a snake!

Full of Owen-y goodness since December 2005... NOW WITH extra Lily goodness (since October 2007)

The W, E, and N were painted by Aunt Joyce - but that was done about 30 years ago a part of my sister Wendi's name. (Actually the N is from Linda I think...) All 4 of us had names on our walls - and now we have all the letters Next time we'll have to try to contain our names to the remaining letters - A, D, I, L, M, N, S, T
Ok, commenters - let's have your name selections from that list of letters!
The full list is actually:
A, A, A, D, I, I, L, L, M, S, T, T.
My vote is for SALAD.
TCMH's vote is for MADI.
Dallas
Matt
Sam
Talia
Before we decided on a name for my daughter "Samantha" was a definite contender. I like it a lot. We would have called her "Sam". But we ended up going with something else.
Now I get it. I was wondering how W-E-N spelled L-I-S-A -- especially since Lisa's not the Welsh one.
1. Tamara, you are smokin!
2. Zoodle, won't you share your daughter's name with us?
3. Names for your next child:
Tim
Misti
Sil (like Steve Van Zant's Soparanos character)
Ada
Mia
Milt
Adam
Ilsa
Sadi -- maybe not
I suppose, in staying with the same theme as Owen - we could open this up to have ANY first letter (we'll buy the capital letter and hopefully have Aunt Marcella paint it for us.)
Tamara - Dill would be too close to my nephew, Dylan!
With that said, I now like Nadia (for a girl.) Have to think of a boy's name!
neo beast me to ADAM, so I'll put mine in caps. :)
And in a moment of kitsch, but sincere kitsch, I'd like to say:
May the circle be unbroken
