Higgy, thanks for the slug info. Dang, all the good nicknames are taken.

On the other hand, I hunted slugs when my baby was Owen's age. We lived in Columbia, Maryland and I poured quite a bit of salt on the little fiends.

Also, my three year old daughter and I learned the hard way that caught grasshoppers squirt ink and bite.
