This morning, he cuddled up to his dragon. The mobile overhead keeps him riveted for minutes... Posted by Picasa

Going back to the 10th percentile weight thing, everybody's right when they tell you don't worry. We all have stories.

1. My friend's baby was in the 5th weight percentile. He was eating just fine. Now he's a 12-year old chubster.

2. My daughter was the world's fattest baby. Off the charts in height and WAY off the charts for weight.

She got skinny as soon as she started walking. Now she's 14, is 5' 8" and 115 pounds. And, yes, she eats and eats.

I am SO jealous.

Oh, and Owen is still my favorite baby!

I think the issue was that he was in the 25th percentile for weight for his first 2 check ups, then he dropped to the 10th percentile this visit. I'm not too worried, but I did think he was starting to look a little dehydrated - chapped lips and drier skin. That is what has me stressing, more than the actual weight part... anyway, he's drinking bottles and bottles now. Keep your eyes out for a double chin in the next few months.

Just to lighten the mood, depending on "circumstances", I also can be riveted by a mobile for minutes - and maybe more!

He looks great!
