This looks a lot more disturbing than it actually is. The blue band is holding a C-PAP inhaler to his nose (which is the white tube), the white dots are the pulse and respiration sensors, the silver fish is a temperature guage, the red thing on his foot measures his oxygenation and he has an IV in his right hand so that is splinted to a board to prevent him from ripping it out. They did a great job explaining everything to us in the NICU. That's Lisa's hands (not the IV still in her wrist) in the background. Posted by Picasa
